Wild flowers

Small clusters of flowers in bright yellow, crimson, cobalt blue and turquoise are scattered across this square canvas, linked by thin dark-green stems and leaves. The background blends muted gold, olive, teal and mauve into a hazy, shimmering ground. Raised, puddled dots of paint give the blossoms texture, while the loose arrangement keeps the composition light and natural.
