Parfum d’été

Sprays of coral-red and pink blossoms cascade from the upper right on slender dark branches, spilling across a misty blue-grey ground. Touches of green and ochre foliage brighten the upper left, and the lower half dissolves into softer, reflected blooms. Blended oil passages contrast with feathery, dabbed flowers, giving the scene a light, airy movement.
