Harp Melody

On this tall, narrow canvas, dabs of magenta, scarlet, orange and lime yellow scatter over a mauve-grey ground. Thin vertical lines in white and pale yellow run through the upper part like taut strings, while the lower third opens into horizontal strokes that suggest a misty clearing. The broken, layered touches keep the warm colors flickering against the cooler violet.
